OUR FUNERAL CELEBRANT

A respectful Commemoration of Life or Remembrance ceremony gives family and friends the opportunity to remember the many ways in which their lives have been touched and enriched by a loved one.

There are no rules on how a funeral service is performed when you use a celebrant. Using the experience and support of our Funeral Celebrant Stephen Oldham, you can personalise and individualise every aspect of the service to make it a truly memorable occasion.

Our Funeral Celebrant Stephen will help you with every aspect of the service. Some choices that you may like to include are:

• Choosing a special and memorable location or venue for the service
• Placing personal items inside the coffin such as photos, letters or drawings
• Organising for the deceased’s favourite music to be played, recordings or a live performance
• Placing a photo of the deceased on the coffin for the service
• Placing personal items on the coffin during the service
• Inviting family and friends to become directly involved by delivering a eulogy, reading a poem or placing personal or meaningful items on the coffin
• Arranging for clubs or organisations to attend or form a guard of honour eg. Bowling Club, sporting club, CWA, RSL
• Placing flower petals on the coffin or into the grave as part of the service.
• Arranging for family/friends to carry the coffin at the church, chapel or graveside
